People always suggest l find another career path since l do not wanna be a Vet, which seems like the only career with animals that make ''enough money''. But l insist that l must have a career with animals, even one that does not make much money.
Wildlife biologist and zoo keeper are my two choices, but both make around 35k, more or less.
How much do animal trainers make, mostly the ones that work with exotic animals?

It depends on what kind of animal trainer you want to become
Wild Animal Trainers get 300.00 a day
At Pet Trainer can get about $38,000-$40,000 a year

How much can an animal trainer make

Trainers do not make a ton of money. It may take you years and years before they consider you experienced enough to handle the big exotics by yourself. So in the meantime, you may be working for ten buck an hour doing ''management'' type jobs around the animals & gaining experience. (Animal management is feeding, cleaning cages, helping assist the experienced trainer when vet comes, etc)
